Popego is Born!

Popego Inc. is a new company founded in the spring of 2007 to pursuit the vision of an utopic idea: make people special (in the online world).

The web today offers an unique opportunity to empower our individuality and share our knowledge to the world. Yet, the diverse online services to accomplish such task in different ways -like sharing photos and videos, blogging, social networks and so on- end up fragmenting our individual self into many (many!) profiles registered anywhere online.

We believe we’ve got a powerful solution for a more open and social web that will unite the fragments of your digital self and let you discover new people online that share your same interests. All these while hopefully saying goodbye to logins and logouts (and not keeping you trapped in the walled gardens of a single website).

With the support of Aconcagua Ventures and experienced entrepreneurs that started up successful software companies in Latin America, we are now working hard on the development of this new idea. And that’s why we have created this blog so we can start sharing our experience in making it real with you.
